Ask a couple of friends to use your old website, record the process over Zoom and look at where are they struggling. Make these changes to your new website and ensure that the user experience is seamless.
Read your content, look at your graphics, and check whether it is still in sync with your business. Think about whether the content is good enough to attract the user? If not, re-do it and align it with your current objectives.
Retain What Works
It’s not necessary to discard everything, especially if something is working. If there are webpages that are performing extremely well, don’t experiment too much with them.
Take One Last Look
Once you are done with the re-design process, take one last look for changes. Make sure you are doing this after taking a break, you will notice more details. Look at your goals and decide if there is anything else you need to add to the new website.
